Pergo is a flooring company with prominent positions in the North American and European markets. The company develops, manufactures and markets flooring of high quality with distinctive designs and unique properties for both homes and commercial areas.

Since the time when the company invented laminate floors in 1977 and created a new type of flooring material, PERGO^® has become one of the world’s best known and trusted flooring brands. Pergo’s inventions are protected throughout the world by nearly 500 granted patents and pending patents.

In Europe, the products are sold to the consumer market, to professional contractors and to the commercial sector. The main sales outlets are flooring and home decorating stores, distributors and various home improvement chains. Sales in North America are primarily targeted at private consumers and the main retailers are home improvement stores and more than 5,000 independent speciality retailers.

Pergo has two manufacturing facilities for laminate flooring in Sweden located in Trelleborg and Perstorp plus two facilities in the USA in Garner, North Carolina, one for laminate flooring and one for moldings.

Pergo has extensive cooperation with Thermopal. Thermopal produce a complete programme of materials for the wood and plastics processing industry, and for upmarket interior decorating, trade fair construction and shop fitting, together with special sectors such as ships interiors.
